Hi, what is the maximum sample length allowable? For example Is it possible to load a single Wav file that lasts 30 seconds?
Calculations show 44.1/16b/stereo file would be around 5MB in size.
So could i create a patch with say 5 30 second samples on the lower octave?

I don’t think there is any published spec on the longest individual sample (as the MODX does not sample), but it is compatible with previous Yamaha Synthesizers that did, and the spec will be at least the same...
The longest single stereo sample was 64MB or 6 minutes 20 seconds, so 30 seconds will be no problem.
