My Modx 6 crashes after loading wav files that were recorded with the modx? It will play them for about 10 or 15 seconds then the modx locks up. Have to reboot? After turning the modx off and on it will normally play then, but if you load a new wav file it does the same thing. Not good on a live gig.
By "locks up" - this means the touchscreen is no longer responsive?
There are conditions when say the sliders and controls will stop responding but the touchscreen should stay active through these. I'm trying to be sure I'm on the same page as to what is locked out.
There is a way to lock the touchscreen ( [SHIFT] + [AUDITION] ). However, that's pretty obvious since the top line shows " " and when you try to access the interface which is locked there would be a message popup telling you how to unlock. So I doubt it's panel lock.
If the whole system (controls, touchscreen, etc) all lock up with the only resolution being a power cycle - then this would be unexpected that just playing a Wav file would cause this and perhaps a service event would be in order.

My Modx 6 crashes after loading wav files that were recorded with the modx?
Does it crash after you load a wav file that you did NOT create on the Modx? That is, will other wav files load and play properly?
Was there anything unusual about the wav file you recorded that crashed such as fast controller movements?
