A while back, someone suggested sending the audio out of the MODX and back through it to gain access to the Audio in processing before outputting the composited whole.

I don't recall how this was done.

However... how could a pedal effects unit be put into this cycle?

Is it even possible?

In this particular case, the "pedal" is the Korg NTS-1.

To insert the Korg into an effects loop, you'll plug the incoming audio to the NTS-1's "Audio In" jack in the back and then route the output of the NTS-1 out the headphone jack in the front. You'll need to set the volume low and adjust. There's no line out - so you have to be careful and cheat.

If you don't have them, you'll need to get cables that interface with the connector types on the NTS-1.

Given this is a DIY kit - you should have gory details about the connectors (stereo vs mono, dimensions, etc).

Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R

Perhaps I'm missing something... but it seems, to me, impossible to send out of the MODX, through the NTS-1, and then back into the MODX, and then out of the MODX to speakers.
