why has MODX7 been discontinued (not showing on retailer websites)? Thank you.

If you are looking to buy another MODX, you should contact a current authorized Yamaha Synthesizer dealer. The retailer does not discontinue a Yamaha product, (only Yamaha can discontinue a Yamaha product); a retailer maybe temporarily sold out of a product, or perhaps they are not authorized to sell/advertise the item. — the MODX is not discontinued. Where in the world are you looking at retailers that say the product is discontinued?

A quick search shows it available (in stock) at Thomann in Germany and Andertons in UK.

Bad Mister,
Canada's largest chain store, Long & McQuade, MODX7 'No Longer Available' -- see attached URL. It is a current authorized Yamaha Synthesizer dealer.
Cosmo Music, Canada's largest store, no longer shows MODX7 on website.
Another Ontario store website 'EOL - End of Life'
Please ask your insider at Yamaha Canada what is going on.
