I don’t see why not.
See Owner’s Manual Page 22-23 Selecting Performances. The fundamental playable entity on the MODX is the Performance. You have Single Part Performances and Multi Part Performances... but all are Performances.

Press the [PERFORMANCE (HOME)] button to view the main Performance screen.
You can now increment through the programs or you can press [CATEGORY] and look for something by instrument category... Single Part Performances appear in green, Multi Part Performances are in blue.

I tried category search and can't seem to figure out how to get to the list area where I can audition the sounds in numerical order.

The first Performance is “CFX + FM EP”

Turn On the MODX
By default, it boots up in Preset “Live Set”.
Press [CATEGORY]
Set Bank = Preset
Attribute = All
Main = All

Along the bottom the default listing is “Default”
You are now looking at the list of 2143 Performances in order...
Select “CFX + FM EP” ...but you do not have to access them from this screen
Pressing [ENTER] will return you to the Performance Home screen.

You can return to the HOME screen, at any time, by pressing the [PERFORMANCE (HOME)] button, or touching the house in the upper left corner of the screen. You can advance through the Performances by pressing [INC/YES], or turning the Data Dial at any time the cursor highlights the Performance Name.

I should warn you if you play each for a minute you’re gonna be there a while... almost a day and a half!!

thank you bad mister. I was the dumbass. I knew how to get to the performances and didn't realize that the performances were in numerical order just like the list I printed. I thought there was a category with the numbers on them from the list. next time I'll post a more intelligent question. again, thank you......Larry

No worries...

From the HOME screen:
If you tap the Performance Name, a pop-in menu will appear.
If you touch “Property” you will see the location of the current Performance.
For example, “CFX + FM EP” reports it is:
Category = Piano
SubCategory = Acoustic
Bank = Preset
Bank Select = MSB 64/LSB 0
Program Change No. = 001

In the Preset area (thus far) there are 16 Banks, each with 128 Performance (2048), plus the first 95 slots of the 17th Bank.
Total thus far: 2,143

Waveforms you can access by number if you want. It would be more consistent if there was a way to recall Performances by number in a similar way Waveforms can - by typing in the 1-4 digits that designate each Performance's number 1-2143.

At the moment, the keyboard's GUI does not let the user relate to Performances by absolute number. These numbers are most useful for relating to Performances by external devies or software. This is where one would use (along with MSB) the LSB and PC mechanism to recall a Performance in its entirety or in PART. LSB is calculated by dividing the Performance # by 128 and PC is calculated by performing a modulus of the Performance #. There's another step to get this right - but it's not related to your question which is use of the GUI vs. programming - so not entirely important to spell out.
