Has Performance himself time signture?

No. A Performance is a collection of 16 Parts. Think of them as instruments. An instrument doesn’t have a Time Signature. A Performance could be a piano (CFX Concert), a piano does not have a Time Signature — the music you play can be counted in a Time Signature. A sequence can have a Time Signature, an ARP Phrase which is born in the sequencer can have a Time Signature.

Don’t mix up the fact that a Performance can be linked/associated with both music-based and controller-based sequences, as well as Arpeggiator Phrases. But the actual Time Signature belongs to the Sequence or the Phrase.

(“The MODX+ has 16 Parts and basic musical instrument sounds are assigned to each Part. A single set of these sounds is called a “Performance.” You can change sounds as desired by selecting the appropriate Performance.”)

Extra Credit:
Along with a link to a sequence, and the association with as many as 8 Arpeggiators and Arp Phrases, a Performance can store a particular Tempo value (5-300bpm). The Tempo establishes how the sequence and Arps will run. Within each of the Performances several devices can also reference the Tempo. This includes the Part LFO, Tempo-driven Effects and the Motion Sequences.

You will notice how the settings for these Tempo driven functions are set by musical values. (32nd note, 16th note, 8th note, quarter note, etc., dotted values and triplet values are available …these note-value settings avoid any issues with Time Signature).

Tempo is not a function of the instrument, per se. Tempo is its own MIDI event which can be defined at the top of each Measure marker… once set to a value it will remain (persist) until a Tempo event appears to change it.

Tempo
For convenience each Performance can store one Tempo setting. This allows you to use this as a reference for all functions that can utilize clock and timing information from the system.

Tempo Change events — are specialty MIDI events. They must be listed on a linear time line — as in a linear MODX Song.
What that means is you can record Tempo change events in the “Play/Rec” > “MIDI (Song)” recorder.

_ Automated Tempo change is not available in the Pattern sequencer, at all. All 8 Pattern Sequencer Scenes will run at the current (one) Performance Tempo.

Tempo Changes can be added after you create a Pattern Chain (a finalized play order of the Scenes) and you’ve Converted the Chain to Song…

Any changes made to TEMPO while the “Play/Rec” > “MIDI” Song is in record will be documented.
Tempo can be “slaved” to an external clock control — when this is the case, you have option to alter playback.
