Hello,
I own MODx. So far, I've used a dynamic microphone plugged into Modx
It is known that the MODX microphone output does not support a condenser microphone.
I'm wondering if my new RODE NT 1 A condenser microphone will work with for example XVive P1 Portable Phantom Power Supply connect it to the MODx ? Will be the sound good as it is for dynamic mic. ??
Regards from Slovenia.

I've used a Rode NT3 condenser mic using battery power with the MODX and it sounds excellent. I imagine a mic with an external phantom power supply will work fine.

Generally condenser mics have more even and wider spectrum, which I prefer (and certainly work better for vocoder effects). Dynamic mics typically have a warmer sound which enrich vocal frequencies.
