I took a Midi out from my MODX6+ to my Midi In Focusrite soundcard using a midi din. The Arturia mk2 61 keys will only act as a trigger for next and previous patches. What changes do I need to make in the Midi i/o setting in the utility section of MODX?

Any help will be good. I'm not seeing any changes to the patch library despite putting MSB and LSB input on Mainstage.

Thanks!

I take it Mainstage is sending the MSB/LSB/PC information to the Focusrite interface.   You need MIDI OUT of the Focusrite to connect to MIDI IN of the MODX.  Make sure the MODX is in MIDI mode and not USB mode.  You'll see an icon in the upper right of a MIDI port (circle with dots).

Or ... If you're using USB (as in MIDI TO HOST connection between the computer and MODX) then you'll need to make sure the MODX is in USB mode and not MIDI mode.  You'll see an icon in the upper right of a USB icon.  It looks sort of like a sideways pitchfork.

There's also a setting to disable bank switching that you'll need to be sure is enabled.  The default is enabled.  This is a global system setting.

Under Part receive make sure MSB/LSB/PC are not filtered.  Do this last since it's the least likely and I should look up the exact nomenclature to make this easier to identify.
