This is a total non-issue I guess, but is the MODX8 supposed to come with a protective plastic sheet on the screen when you buy it? Mine didn't, and while that doesn't really matter, if it SHOULD then that makes me think I was sold a non-new keyboard as new (by the retailer, not Yamaha). Which is just a practice I dislike. If I pay for a factory new product, that's what I should be getting.
I bought the MODX at the end of last year, and it seemed brand new from what I could tell, but then today while browsing the history of this forum I saw Bad Mister say (maybe a year ago) that there should be one that should be removed. Which mine didn't have. So that's why I'm now asking.
If it matters, it was purchased in Sweden (perhaps there are regional differences).
Another user bought a new MODX and didn't have the plastic film on the screen.

Yeah, but he's wondering the same thing as me. I.e. did he actually get a brand new one?
