Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can let me know if there's a way to have a reverse delay effect. Thanks!

Reverse Dynamic Phaser
Reverse Dynamic Flanger
Reverse Reverb
Reverse Early Reflection

... except for Reverse Wah (which is more unlike reverse delay than the above) - these are all the "reverse" effects, by name, in MODX.

Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R

What does a “reverse delay effect” do? Can you describe what you are looking for... (searching the word “reverse” will not find any effect with that name).

But depending on what you are envisioning you can certainly create most any kind of effect with what is on offer. If you want to “reverse” it so the Delays come before you play the event... that would be a no. But if you want each repeat to sound like it is reversed... then try the Reverse Reverb, and work with the “Feedback” parameter to create multiple delay events that have that reversed feel.

I don't know if this is what the OP is referring to, but this sparked a question about something I might like to try with a reverse effect, which may lead to the answer to the original question.
Is there a way to actually have a sound or effect “reverse” so the Delays(or other reversed effects) come before the event is played, if it is with a pre-sequenced Song?
One example that comes to mind is Queen's reverse piano (or reverse Piano reverb!?) in 'Another One Bites the Dust'.

Maybe there's a way to have a 'secondary' PART that is hidden/silent, play something pre-sequenced, triggering some reverse effects, and have this silent PART sequenced to start prior to when the 'real/primary' PART plays so that the end result is the effects play in reverse and then the 'primary' PART plays, giving the illusion that you “reversed” it so that the Reverse Delays/Reverbs came before the event played!? Maybe there's a way to trigger one PART from another PART via Envelopes to do something similar like this!? I don't know enough yet about Envelopes & Motion Sequencing at this point, but I do wonder if it's possible to use those features/functionality to create the "illusion" that Delays or Reverbs or even PARTs themselves, have been reversed prior to the event is played out?

Back in the last century such “effects” were created with ingenuity and imagination... you’d do it with magnetic tape — they’d record a bit to a two track tape recorder, reverse it and fly it back in to the multi track.

You’ve got an idea about what you want to accomplish, there are tons of tools in the MONTAGE tool kit. Have at it...
when you come up with something interesting, post a SoundCloud File so we can hear what you’ve come up with.

Maybe others will take up the challenge... and post. It is fairly easy to do with any DAW, but if you want to make the challenge to use “only the MONTAGE”... that might be cool. I’m swamped with other projects right now, but with the “Spiralizer” Effect this type of thing should be possible.
“Beat Repeat” also has some interesting possibilities.

Have fun!
