Apologies. This should be easy to find... but am unable. Dunno why. Brain fade. Stupidity. Uselessness. All?
[quotePost id=117345]Just turned on my MODX and the light isn't flashing.
So you MUST have done something to make it start flashing.
Alas - you haven't told us ANYTHING about what you did.
1. pick any performance
2. press PLAY twice - button flashes
3. press STOP (just left of play button - button stops flashing
Per the Owner's manual on page 13
R] (Play) buttonPress to start playback or recording of a Song. During recording and playback, the button flashes at the current tempo.
If you set the tempo to the minimum of 5 you might be able to blink your eyes in sync and not notice the flashing.
Or you could remove the bulb. I'm pretty sure that will stop it from flashing.:D [/quotePost]
To summarise:
You're saying it's not possible to stop the Play button from flashing during Play?

I woke late. Made some chicken noodle soup because it seemed right. The sun had set. Cereal felt wrong, despite an urge for its texture.
And its sweetness.
It's not often Fruit Loops™ and Cheerios™ aren't the right answer to any question.
This was one of those rare moments.
So I ascended to the bowels of the pantry and brought forth a 2 minute gem. It took longer for the water to boil. Such is the nature of global warming.
Coffee was next.
Not a drip bucket. Nor a punch through bowl of pretend machine made. Nor a grind. Blend 43. Nature's finest hour. By which I mean the movement that followed. And the delay (echo) of thunderous applause from the neighbours as a fart let rip (between nuggets) worthy of Strymon's finest reverberations.
As the room came back into focus, a blinking charge light on the electric razor caused a stirring of last nights annoyance with the unusual flashing of the Play button.
To YamahaSynth.com and Bill, the bastion of barrages and berating against less than QA worthy summaries of troubles.
After a shower. And another look at the razor.
And some Skittles™ in a glass of warm Red Bull™ -- Drink the Rainbow!
[quotePost id=117350]Sad to say but I don't know how anyone can take you seriously anymore after that last post.
I mean 'warm Red Bull'? Really? In many circles that would be considered sacrilegous! Everyone knows Red Bull should be served 'cool' but not chilled. How do you live with yourself?[/quotePost]
Wait till you find out about the British and warm beer...

You probably know Paris is not Paris anymore, but if you get to Paris, be aware...
Anyway, I know you would be safe per the steps you provided us with earlier after you woke late and made some chicken noodle soup because it seemed right, so I don't think you would drop yourself there, but Hilton or Ritz...

Is a relative of Michael Mann wandering the streets without a hockey stick AND choosing to eat at McDonalds?
Has Greta been post facto forewarned?
And how much energy is that flashing Play button using? I don't want to cause any more carbon emission than is absolutely essential, when Playing Sequences on the Pattern Sequencer.
Think twice, Andrew...
In fact if you choose keeping it flashing it would help reducing the carbon emission of yours, but only in winter, as even the most effective led still releases some heat, cutting the fuel flow needed to match your selection (avoid Pure major if at all possible so as not to stress anything undocumented) on the temperature control.
The higher the tempo, the lower the emissions.
Also red is better than blue or green, or so I think.
Final step, move from that concert pitch 440 to some 466 and play above A7 all the time, with sustained waves. If it vibrates, it heats. The higher the vibration, the higher the temperature rise and the lower the fuel flow. Microwave ovens use this little trick, but with a bit higher diapason.
