Hi there
I have an m-audio sustain pedal which I used successfully with my MX61. It's a simple switch type.
For some reason it does not work with the modx?
I have gone into utility and changed the pedal to FC 4/5 and also tried plugging into the assignable jack.
Is there anything else I can do besides buying a new pedal?
Cheers

The M-Audio SP-1 and SP-2 (I'm not really sure what sustain pedal you have - you didn't give the details) have a polarity switch. You may need to toggle the polarity switch for compatibility with Yamaha. That said, the MX and MODX should have the same polarity and both are fixed internally (not programmable or sensing).
