Certainly an exciting addition to the family. Nearly all the muscle of Montage without the weight. Unlike all previous "MO" generations, now there's a 76-key version. Big thumbs up for that. Although a bit redundant (in terms of sound palette) - a Montage8 bottom MIDI'd to a MODX top would be killer. True simultaneous control over 32 PARTs using each keyboards' zone control and also more room for sample libraries allowing you to max out two instead of one instrument's memory resources.
I'm not sure if Montage wants or needs something to act like the new drum pattern button on MODX. Looks like some of the repeated questions of how to do this on Montage (and lack of ARP buttons) may have influenced this for MODX.
