I thought folks might want to see this setup to get some ideas. Having a rack setup directly front and center is easy to do. I have listed the components I used in the following list. I might eventually post a YouTube video but it's not difficult if you have a drill handy. I'm using (3) VIVO stands which are easy to assemble and very sturdy. One VIVO long pole is supporting my OnStage rack, another VIVO is supporting my laptop and mixer and the 3rd is supporting my Dell touch screen for Montage. You can mix and match these VIVO parts and get creative on where you want platforms and units supported. I'll go into more detail once I get these photos posted.

My stands are OnStage stands which have very strong structural tubing. I located the backside arms where I wanted to drill holes for my VIVO poles to be located. The VIVO poles come with (2) mounting options and I used the through-bolt (grommet option) for a guaranteed attachment. For the rack support I attached the long pole to the keyboard arm. I also drilled through the top tube of the rack so that I could attach the VIVO support arm to the rack. Those wooden pieces you see at the top are the end pieces that came with the Behringer DeepMind 12D. It comes with rack ears as well. Instead of wasting the solid wood end caps I used them as decorations on top of the rack. For my laptop and mixer platforms I used the same technique and so those units can hover over my synths and are in very convenient locations. Please ask questions if you need more information.

The weight of the rack and DeepMind 12D are mostly on the CP1 hood while the VIVO arm keeps the rack in a stable position. The rack and unit are pretty light weight anyway.

Here are some close-up photos of those through-bolt pole attachments.

The 1st and 3rd are the long pole attachments for the rack support. The 2nd photo is the through-bolt attachment on the upper level of my OnStage synth stand for the laptop and mixer platforms.
