To Bad Mister
I have my Bass Arp Set for my. Right hand chords.
I use my Left hand. To play Transition Notes/Melody transition. (If You have ever tried to play a Todd Rundgren song. U will See A/B E/A E/F# .......).
Those / bottom notes. Are really transition notes. And. Are really played with the Left hand. And The Real person playing Bass. Is playing to the Chords.
Now the Bass arp needs to Play in the Key of the chord. Not the Transition note key.
That is why I have it set this way. I have the Bass split set 2 B2 and right.
However.
When I play the Transition note. With the left hand. The Arp shuts off.!!!!
If Properly Split. The Left hand playing. Should not have any Effect on the ARP Bass playing. From the right hand.
So even though the split is set correctly. There is still a piano signal. Getting through to the performance Bass playing.
If there is a setting for Absolute Hard Split. (or whatever it is called.) I can not find it.
So. Please let me know. How to get this done.
If it cannot be done. Then it is a design flaw. A Bass split. Should Cut off all signal to the internals of the Bass performance. One side of the Split or the other.
Yet still be able. To play the Left hand Piano Note. Without interfering with the Bass performance.
Now if the bass is on the left side split(normal). Then the right hand. Never affects the bass.
It needs to work the same way. In both directions. That is also. Normal for a split.

Hi

I don't understand all, but don't forget we have two splits for a part :

1: Edit > Part Select > Part Settings > General > Note Limit
Zone limit for tone generator and

2: Edit > Part Select > Arpeggio > Common > Note Limit
Zone limit for arpeggio generator to recognize chords

Try for the bass:
Edit > Part Select > Part Settings > General > Note Limit = C-1:G8
Edit > Part Select > Arpeggio > Common > Note Limit = B2:G8
with Edit > Part Select > Part Settings > General > Arp Play Only = ON
and adjust Edit > Part Select > Part Settings > Pitch > Note Shift

Thank you
That worked!
But. This part did not matter where it was set to: Edit > Part Select > Part Settings > General > Note Limit = C-1:G8 or Note Limit = B2:G8 or....
Now. I sorta need to. Get why this worked.
Yes the note limit on the arp. (already had that set.).
So for some reason. This setting 'Arp Play Only = ON'. Really the only thing I changed.
Locked out the signal. From the Left hand.
Maybe tomorrow. I will try to figure out. Why?? 'Arp Play Only = ON' Locks the split.
Could be. If it is set to ON. Then. That Arp Note Limit. Is also. Then the only area of keys.
It can receive signals/instructions from.
So
Thank you again.
