Audio Recording Confusion

How do I record multiple takes?

After I record the first take it saves.

Then when I start the second take it displays

NewAudioRec will be overwritten

Cancel/No or Save/Yes

If I select Save/Yes it overwrites the first take

If I select Cancel/No it takes me back to the record display but when I try to start the second take recording it loops me back to the overwrite decision screen

How do I:

Name each take and record consecutive takes .

Right now I pull the USB stick, transfer the take to my computer, delete it off my stick reinsert and record the next.

I am sure I am missing something at least I hope so.

EDIT: My original reply is off-base as it applies to MIDI, not Audio. Sorry about that.

(deleting original response).

When you are ready to record "take 2":
Touch the NAME box on the AUDIO RECORD screen
If you left the default name "NewAudioRec" (the next take will automatically be named "NewAudioRec001", then "NewAudioRec002" etc.)

The pop-in menu offers the "LOAD" options
This takes you to the LOAD > .wav page
Touch the option "New Audio File" to ADD a new audio file
You will be shown the default name "NewAudioRec001" you can name it now or just touch "DONE" you are returned to the AUDIO RECORD screen and advanced to the next "take".

Hope that helps.
