Can backing tracks be played without loading them as samples? can they stream from a USB drive? While the board is being used?
There are a couple of ways to approach "backing tracks"
1) load them to the sixteen track sequencer that's built in - leave the Parts you want to play accessible
2) stream a .wav file direct from a connected USB drive
Can they be trigger via a button or assigned note, or does it have to be selected from the screen, and when in that mode, will the leyboard still function the same, meaning can you go back to live sets and so forth while the track is still playing?
Thanks
The Sequencer can be started with transport Play [>] button.
Currently, you choose what you want to play... A Performance can contain 16 Parts - if you're playing back a .mid file obviously the Parts are fixed - busy playing back the midi data.
If you're streaming an audio file you simply switch to the Part 1-16 that you want to play along with.
Yes, you need to plan ahead... I think that is what you are asking... Let me know.
