I tried to backup the Bosendorfer library file to USB, the file did show up on the USB, but was nothing in the file. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

We are not sure what you are describing when you say you attempted to back it up. (?)

Sorry to be so vague, I am new to the Montage, which I absolutely love, and just trying to find my way around it. I backed up my live sets to USB, and thought I would try to back up the Bosendorfer sounds in the library. Not sure if this is possible, or even needed. Really new at this, and appreciate any advice. I am so impressed with the Montage.....beautiful to look at and sounds great.

No worries. If you have loaded the Bosendorfer.X7L into your Montage, it is there until you manually DELETE or you INITIALIZE ALL DATA. For long term safety keep a Copy of this file on your computer.
Once you've installed a Library you cannot lose the data without directly DELETING IT, or Initializing ALL data. If you do, then simply reinstall it from your safety copy - you keep on your computer.
