Is it possible to shoot modulation wheel aftertouch a superknob and videos of brass presets. there is a serious lack of information on this subject.
Also, a video on the articulation of the same brass instrument in strong playing (velocity ) would be great.

There's no visual indication of aftertouch, modwheel, ribbon, etc. However, you can see superknob moving. When you press the [AUDITION] button this is supposed to demo what the Performance does. You can watch superknob to see how the demo (audition) utilizes superknob.

The only way to observe other unseen controllers during the audition, you could look at a MIDI monitor to watch for aftertouch or modwheel. That's a bit on the "advanced" side, though.

I have suggested before a manual that describes how to use each Preset which covers aftertouch, modwheel, superknob, ribbon, assignable knobs, ASSIGN 1&2 buttons, etc. The model is similar to the documentation given for the Chick Corea library that includes performance notes.

I thought I found a video that might help - Bad Mister created it

Unfortunately it is just a sales pitch where he mentions how important articulations are, especially for brass players, and how Yamaha has been implementing them for a long time.

But there is only one demo starting at the 1 minute mark and he never says what performance he is actually using.

Someone might be able to find a preset that demos what you are looking for if you can provide some specifics about what you are looking for. Or if you have a piece of music a brass player is playing that shows what you want.

This video will help in understanding how layering and how editing/building a Performance work:

This video digs into customizing your Performance Articulations (Aftertouch, FS, etc).

As to Brass section articulations, take a look at the following Performances:
Set your Category Search to
“Bank/Favorite” = Preset
“Attribute” = All
Type in = pop
Main = Brass
Sub = Ensemble
This will recall a bunch of Pop Horn section programs…
You can see/hear and study how in the “PopHorns Dyn Shake” the “Shake” is brought in with velocity. But in “Pop Horns Mellow” that same “Shake” is brought in by an AsSW (XA CONTROL)… allowing you to “shake” at lower velocities…
This will help you understand that it is really your choice as to how different articulations are brought in. In the “PopHorns Dyn Shake” the Super Knob brings in additional trumpet playing up an octave.

Experiment changing the assignments… try changing the Fall Off articulation to Velocity, or assigned to a Foot Switch. You may have a preference depending on the song you’re playing.

A hugely helpful low hanging fruit improvement would be search filtering for controllers:

eg. has AfterTouch, Mod Wheel and Ribbon Controller, within brass sounds, to quickly identify those that are able to be more expressively played dynamically.

Instead of flying blind through thousands of presets.
