I'm wanting to consecutively trigger different drum grooves (verse, chorus, bridge etc) and on the MOXF I'd just tap "arp2" then "arp3" and it would cue up the next ARP but only start it when "beat 1" came around, so the groove evolved seamlessly. On the montage what is the best way to do this? do scenes start immediately when you hit the button? Am I still best to just allocate different arps to my drum part and use the ARP buttons to trigger different grooves? thanks in advance

on the MONTAGE the best way is the same as on the MOXF, except you have ARP1-ARP8. ARPs behave exactly as they did in the MOXF, they can be set to start at the top of the next measure or immediately (depending on the same parameter setting CHANGE TIMING = “Measure” or “Real-time”, just like on the MOXF.

SCENEs behave exactly the same as they did on the MOXF, they are recalled immediately, however, Arps can be linked to a Scene, just like on the MOXF, and it will respect your setting for the Arp’s timing change, either “Measure” or “Realtime”.

There are now eight Scenes, as opposed to six, as on the MOXF.
In fact all MOXF Performances can be loaded and performed in the MONTAGE.
