Hi

I have a Yamaha Montage M8x , two computers , four external sound modules, and a midi interface (fastlane by Motu 2x2) One computer is a Mac mini 2 and the other one is a windows 7 PC. On my Mac computer I have logic installed and another Daw software call Midiculous. On my Windows Pc I have Cakewalk by Bandlab and Powertracks and the software called Midiculous. I have my Display monitor connected to Both computers. My Goal is to be able to switch back and forth between both computers, but not at the same time. I also have two keyboards and mouse for each computer. Right now, I have a usb cable running from my Montage to the Mac mini and I also have a midi cable leading out from the Montage to [IN A]of the midi interface, and I have a midi cable leading from  [OUT B] of the midi interface leading to the external sound modules. I have a midi cable leading  from the Montage in to the [IN B] of the midi interface in order to hear sound playback from the external sound modules. Right now I’m unable to hear  sound from my external sound modules when both computers are off. I would like to be still be able to play my Montage using my external sound modules even when my computers are not on. I’m also having issues with hearing sound on my Daws while recording midi. All of my focus is dealing with Midi. I’ve done a factory reset on my Yamaha montage, checked all cables, switched from midi to usb when attempting to use internal sound and external sound. There’s nothing wrong with my Montage M8x. Right now I’m stuck and looking for a solution. I would like to know if what I’m doing is possible. Yamaha Tech Isaac referred me to you. He speaks highly of you.😊 I appreciate any help that you can Provide. Thanks very much.
