I have some midi data from Montage recorded into Logic. I can edit that data in Logic and transform it to audio no problem.

Is it possible to have the midi playing and be editing its parameters (reverb, volume) in real time as it records back into DAW as audio?

Basically Im trying to do real time automation using Montage rather than DAW

Hope thats clear. If this is possible it will save me time over drawing in automation.

Thanks

Yes... what you hear is what you’ll get.

You can manually adjust things like volume, reverb, pan position, etc., etc., etc. while the Tone Generator is responding to your Logic MIDI Tracks.

Well thats good to know it is possible.

However when I play the track with midi data and record it to audio, I hear the midi changing as I adjust reverb etc, but those changes are not taking effect on the audio track.
The audio track remains the same as the original midi track.
I must be missing something,

Thanks in advance
