I have a performance where foot ctrl 2 is set to cc11 expression. When I am fading out with the pedal and at the same time go to a different performance, the volume (expression) of that next performance is also low, while it has not set footctrl2 to expression. When I select the performance when I am not fading out the volume, it works fine and the next performance has normal volume.
Is this a setting or a bug?
Thanks!
Stef
For Montage Classic:
1) Press the [UTILITY] button
2) Navigate to menu "Settings" -> "MIDI I/O"
3) Observe the setting for "Hold/Reset" under the "Controller" row.
What you seem to be describing is a situation where the controller is not being reset but is holding according to where it was left in the previous Performance. If this isn't what you want then change the setting to "Reset".
Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R
What is foot ctrl 2 set to in 2nd perf?
I can only reproduce this (but on an M8X) if the 2nd perf also has foot ctrl 2 set to CC#11 and the Hold/Reset parm is set to 'Hold'. If the 2nd perf has foot ctrl 2 set to the default 'Super Knob' it doesn't reproduce for me.
Since nobody responds to this, I am assuming this is a bug. Can you please fix this, Yamaha?
Thanks,
