The manual indicates that a USB flash drive must be formatted on the Montage. OK, I'm game, but what are the steps to format a UBS thumb drive? (I've searched Owner's and Reference manuals with no success).

Hello, go to utlity > Contents >Load screen or Save/store screen :
Active the job switch "on".
Touch on the screen the currently connected USB Device.
It will call up the menu to select "format".
I do not have the Montage yet, it's on the Reference Manual
Job (Job Switch)
Determines whether the Job function is active (On) or not (Off.) When this parameter is turned on, touching
the File/Folder/Content in “File Select” calls up the menu to select “Rename” or “Delete.”
Touching the currently connected USB device calls up the menu to select “Format.”
Also you can create a new folder when storing a file.
Settings: Off, On
