can i store the global master eq/effects like moxf?
Not sure what you mean by "like MOXF" _ the architectures are slightly different, here's what that means:
MOXF has a VOICE mode, MONTAGE does not. So right away the landscape is different.
On the MOXF you can have a MASTER EFFECT and MASTER EQ that applies to all of VOICE mode. The settings for the Master Effect and EQ are actually stored in the UTILITY mode. This means every VOICE you recall will run through these Blocks. You can STORE "Offset" settings in each USER VOICE. So say you select
When you move to PERFORMANCE mode on the MOXF, you can STORE a different MASTER EFFECT and MASTER EQ for each PERFORMANCE - the setting is stored in the PERFORMANCE data (not UTILITY mode). The same goes for SONG/PATTERN MIXING mode, each can STORE a unique Master Effect and Master EQ setting.
On the MONTAGE you are always in PERFORMANCE mode, so here, the MONTAGE behaves exactly like the MOXF in PERFORMANCE mode... you can STORE a different MASTER EFFECT and MASTER EQ for each PERFORMANCE.
Since each PERFORMANCE can house sixteen PARTS (and a Part is the equivalent of a MOXF Voice), you can apply a MASTER EFFECT and MASTER EQ that would apply to all the PARTS in the PERFORMANCE.

These will give you some idea about how you can assemble sounds within a PERFORMANCE for individual play. Because each PART can be addressed separately, moving between PART (using [PART SELECT] is convenient way to assemble all the sounds you need to get to rapidly. They all can share the same MASTER EQ and MASTER EFFECTS.
Hope that helps.
