Now THAT would be awesome.. That being said, I'm pretty sure it can't be done... I hope I'm proven to be wrong..

I don't think it can be done that way....But here is what I would like to suggest for the next OS update is that: Automatic Tempo Detection for incoming Audio signal from A/D input jack....so when we play Montage on the live stage we just input the Mic from the live drum kick and its will auto detect the tempo, we don't need to Tap the tempo since we're busy to select sounds and other things

Thanks

It already exists. Just attach your microphone in the left AD/input jack.

It does. just make sure the mic is in the LEFT/MONO audio input and that your settings are right.

1) UTILITY > SETTINGS > AUDIO I/O > INPUT > A/D input =:Mic
2) UTILITY (or SHIFT + ENTER)> TEMPO SETTINGS > SYNC > MIDI SYNC = A/D in
3) I have also turned ON the "clock out" (next to the Midi sync) for synchronizing external midi

That should work, at least it does for me.

Another additional thing you might try:

1) In the performance select the PART with the arpeggio.
2) Click Edit
3) PART SETTINGS > ARPEGGIO > Change Timing = Real time (or measure)
I use Real-time.
