I'm migrating from the Motif XF to a new Montage M, and I'm frustrated with what seems to be a glaring omission on the Montage. Although the sequencing capability seems to equal or better than the Motif overall, I'm at a loss as to how to deal with a sequencer that does not allow individual events to be corrected after the fact. The Motif, like the most basic sequencers of the 80s, allowed you to review and edit individual notes, timing, velocity, etc. in an otherwise potentially good performance.
Am I missing something? Virtually every function from the Motif pattern / song capability is there except this one.
Thanks!
The Montage generation sadly got rid of surgical event editing.

No onboard sequencing - use a DAW/PC for that.
The M models have a very limited ability to sequencing. You will need to find/use a DAW/app that has the sequencing functionality you need.
Make sure you download/configure/use the free ESP Plugin that M users have available. Then you can use a PC combination of ESP and DAW to perform sequencing and testing of your changes before uploading them to the M itself.
