Improving ESP/DAW performance under Windows

Thought this would be a good place and time to remind ourselves about the need and ways to optimize Windows DAW hosts to handle real-time audio without glitches.

Thanks, Stu. Good stuff. 

I would imagine if I spent some time optimizing my laptop for audio that the plugin would work fine. I just haven't been motivated to do so because this particular station doesn't do the heaving lifting on Cubase. Still, it would be nice to have ESP running on at least one of my workstations.
