Which manual did you follow? ....Or better would be to include what you setup. Be specific. What computer type and operating system you are using? What settings did you make in Montage, what settings did you make in ABLETON.

There is no known incompatibility with ABLETON Live, that's the good news, so the bad news: it's something you are doing or not doing. We'd be happy to help but you have to provide your information.

The driver you should be using is the "Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver".
The "Yamaha USB Audio" driver is for other Yamaha products (try to remember Yamaha makes hundreds of different keyboard products, so the specific driver is important)

thanks for help. maybe it was the 1 meter usb extension cable . but still have some issues. i will first use cubase ai for learm the path then i will see with ableton. if some troubles remains i will report. my config is windows 7 ultimate an I7 at 4.4 g hertz
32gb ram. again thanks

one of the issues is the latency of input and ouput . 16ms each at 512 samples.
i noticed that when you switch from the quick set up screen to performance screen then come back to qsup the cursor always come back to standalone. set up.

USB extensions cables can be problematical. Avoid if at all possible.
