I have programmed the tempo + knob flash into all of my performances to help keep our drummer honest. He can look at the superknob and see if his beat is in sync with the superknob tempo.
There are a few performances where the superknob flash doesn't get to black between beats. Instead it pulsates from let's say 100% brightness to 95% brightness—not distinct enough to determine the beat.
Does anyone know what's causing this behavior, and how to change it so that the flash cycles between bright and dark beat-to-beat?
Thanks.
Cheers,
Karl
This would be easier to answer with the keyboard up (here). Rather than tackle this - I'll say that you can also have the PLAY button flash at the current tempo if you load a song and play it. The song could have just rests so you have something to flash the LED. It may be something else although this LED is smaller than superknob and not raised as high.
I'm not sure what your drummer's proximity is.

You can select from a series of different flashing types.
From the HOME screen
Touch “Motion Control” > “Super Knob”
The parameter is called “LED Pattern”
I personally have not figured what each of the mode selections are but, you can pick the one that works for your purpose and STORE it to the Performance.
