Have to say, its awesome getting the pattern sequencer back. The ability to assign SuperKnob and keyboard control to scenes along with the patterns makes quick jams amazingly productive. I'm glad I learned Cubase and its tools as that opened a whole new world.....
but
I would say the Montage now rocks as workstation as well....tremendous update. (But my DAW might get a lil bit lonelier :))

my DAW will also get lonelier now. Sequencer rocks, even thow I never thought I would need it. I thought it would be as clumsy to use as my old Roland vs880 8 track recorder which I used in the 90ies, and a joke compared to a DAW, but I was wrong. I never had a Synth with a sequencer, but now I know why many people requested it.

+1 from me: I missed the Motif sequencer badly - much more than I expected - when I bought a Montage. This is already enough to bring back a lot of the magic and immediacy for me. The design is clean and fits well with the architecture of the rest of the synth/workstation too. Good work chaps.

Is it an idea to synchronize the blinking speed of the record/play button to that of the Superknob/BPM?
