I spent a good deal of time setting up a performance with different scenes so that I could move from one to the other and have certain parts mute. When I stored the performance the scene settings we're no longer there. Quite frustrating!
Can anyone explain if I am missing a step or if this is possible.
Thanks.

Maybe something in here will help:

There's also checking that the correct scene categories are turned ON

https://www.yamahasynth.com/forum/how-to-save-volume-and-mute-in-scene-memory-solved

... which mentions making sure you have "Mixing 1" and "Mixing 2" turned ON.

Scenes have the ability to filter what parameters are saved -- so you can elect that when you press a scene button that certain settings are not touched at all. "Mixing" options let you opt-in or out of saving the volume/mute related settings.

It's absolutely possible as most of my set is controlled by scene buttons which just mute some parts and unmute others. I'm not worried about seamless most of the time.
