Mac doesn't recognize Montage

My mac can not recognize Montage in some reason.I installed YS usb driver and the plugins too.I use usb 3 cable.Montage is on USB Midi...OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
I can't see the Montage in Audio Midi Setup/Audio Devices.

Thanks a lot for the help

Hello Len - I thought much the same, as the Montage did not appear as a drive on my Windows PC either, but apparently it does not anyway. There is a download (from Yamahasynth.com) called 'Montage Connect' that allows communication between the computer and Montage - you will also need to create a dedicated folder on your Desktop for 'Connect' to refer to.

I downloaded M.Connect already but I didn't create the folder

Try a USB 2 cable. Should be a type A on one end (flat rectangle) and type B on the other end (closer to a square).

This is the same cable printers use.

Should be plugged into the "USB host" port, not the "USB device" port.

No MAC here so can't say how to dig around the OS to find it.

Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R
