I have a default element (which originally played the base piano sound with response to velocity) and after adding my own .WAV file to it it no longer responds to velocity.
I’ve changed every setting I could find that might be related and was unable to find anything helpful in the Reference Manual.

What do I need to do to get my .WAV to respond to velocity?

Thank you,
L. Spiro

I finally found it.
“Level / Pan” -> Level/Vel + Offset.

Furthermore, once discovering this, I looked it up in the reference manual and answered my second question: “What value gives an exactly linear correlation between how hard you press and how loud the sound is.”
It’s 32.
I am now ready to make the ultimate retro sound pack.
