Is it possible to controol at the same time external keyboard by montage midi out and vst insteument on pc by montage usb connection? I try to do that but I can't because as soon I select usb on montage setup the montage midi out stop to work....
Thanks.
It is possible, the issue you have is with your current configuration. When you have your PC connected, you need to have the PC route the MIDI data back to Montage.
Detailed discussion:
https://yamahasynth.com/forum/midi-usb-and-din-not-together-why
The setup in the link is slightly different as the OP wanted the MIDI IN of Montage to respond to the external keyboard connected to Montage's MIDI port (5-Din).
Your case is similar - a variation on theme with almost the same solution.
You would route Montage Port-1 (input)--> Montage Port-3 (output).
Input and output are from the computer's perspective.

THanks Jason but I don't understan how do it. I use vst on my pc and I don't know how reroute as you say. I have 2 canale. One midi connected to midi out and one usb to pc. What must I add?
What DAW are u using andrea? Parli italiano?
This is a software configuration step and there are no details, as of yet, what software you are using. If you are hosting the VSTi inside some DAW software (Cubase, Logic, Ableton, etc). If so, it's a matter of configuring the DAW software and this step is different depending on what you may have installed.
If you are using the VSTi as standalone, then your options may be more limited - depends on what you have.

we need to know how you play VST instrument in your pc, so we can help you
Yes, Cubase - that's what I was after. Cubase and other audio/plugin host software packages are often referred to as "DAW software" - or the software you would put on your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW computer).
The free version of Cubase doesn't have as many options when it comes to MIDI routing, but I could get it working with the free version - it's all I have here.
From what you described, here's what I think you're after:
1) External Keyboard connected from Montage's MIDI OUT port (5-DIN) to the external keyboard's MIDI 5-pin DIN input. Maybe this is your Nord.
2) Montage USB plugged into computer
3) Cubase running VSTi such that you can play the virtual (software) instrument with the Montage keyboard.
... and your mashing down on the Montage keys as your master controller
You want the following to happen when you mash down on the Montage's piano keys:
1) The VST (computer) plays in response
2) The Montage plays in response
3) The external keyboard connected to Montage's MIDI output port plays in response.
I've set that up here - only I used a Korg Liverpool as the external MIDI device plugged into Montage's MIDI out instead of the keyboard you have.
Montage was set to MIDI mode = USB
In Cubase, I'm not sure which VST you're using - but I'm using the Halion Sonic SE2 that came with Cubase. I set it up so I could hear it making "Marimba" sounds and responds to the Montage mashing keys.
This is fine, but at this stage the external keyboard isn't making any noise when I mash Montage's keys. In order to fix this, I:
1) Right clicked in the "track controls" pane. This pane for me is just to the right of the "Inspector" pane which is on the far-left of the screen. The "Inspector" pane is labeled but the "track controls" pane is not. At the bottom-right corner of the "track controls" pane - there's a gear. If you hover your mouse over that gear, you'll see a tooltip which says "Open Track Controls Setting Dialog" -- this is how I came to label this pane as "track controls".
... ok - so all that for right-click on "track controls" pane which brings up a menu including "Add MIDI Track ..." - DO click this option to add a MIDI track.
If you'd rather, you can also get to this by menu system "Project" menu -> Add Track -> MIDI ...
2) You should see a new track called "MIDI 01" shoved under your tracks. In the "track controls" pane, click on "MIDI 01" to make it light grey. The "inspector" pane should update with "MIDI 01" in kind of a blue/grey color just under "Inspector". Just under "MIDI 01" you should see "M" "S" "R" and "W", then under that a record button, a smaller speaker button, then under that a few triangle icons and a clock icon with a black box to the right of those (with the current setting shown with a line or bar). Then under that you should see 3-4 lines of text in black. For me the first line says "No Track Present". The second line says "All MIDI Inputs" and the next line says "MONTAGE-3"
*** this last line is what you need to change from what it says to MONTAGE-3. I'm not sure what it defaulted to, but it wasn't "MONTAGE-3"
Also, if you don't see any of this - then the options are just collapsed. Click on the blue/grey "MIDI 01" bar at the top of the "Inspector" pane and it will show the details.
Notice that this setting I directed you to has an icon showing something like "[ -> " An arrow coming out of an open box. This is representing "MIDI OUTPUT". The line above it which shows "All MIDI Inputs for me has an icon that looks like --> ]" - an arrow going into an open box - or "MIDI INPUT".
That's it - now your external keyboard should be making noise. Mine did.
You may want to be sure the MIDI channel for "MIDI 01" is set to "Any" or the appropriate channel for your external device's channel it is scanning (setup) for.
Also, if you look further down the line you may see "off" and "off" just above "No drum map". When you hover over these sections, the left box says "Bank Selector" and right box says "Program Selector". You can double click on these areas and manually type in a bank and program number to change the sound your external keyboard is set to assuming it respects Bank+PC. I set the program selector to "44" and now the Korg makes a spooky sound instead of the piano sound it defaulted to.
If you have your Montage setup to send Bank+PC - then these should pass through and you can leave these two boxes to "Off".
Once you get everything sorted out, save the setup to a file so you can load it back up when you want to return to the same settings.

Super Jason. I will try as soon I can. Thanks a lot
Yes it works! Thanks Jason....the only things is that I've installed cubase al 64 bit that can't see 32bit vst.
Anyway thank you
There is a solution for that I believe. The name is JBridge. I'm only aware of it because I purchased it as an add-on for another package as a "just in case". There may be other solutions - maybe someone else will chime in. I am not affiliated with JBridge nor do I know how well it works since I haven't used it yet.
From their website:
Using inter-process communication mechanisms, it aims to make it possible to run 32bit plugins in 64bit hosts, 64bit plugins in 32bit hosts, or even bridging 32bit plugins to 32bit hosts, allowing to overcome the memory limitations of a single 32bit process, in this last case.

EDIT: I was searching for some alternatives and found that actually, use of jbridge is one one of the recommended solutions from Steinberg:
See link for some other options.
