Hi, I need some help with my Montage 6.
The keyboard has two symptoms. I will try to explain them precisely.
- When the E key is pressed the F key does not sound, the same problem occurs in all octaves.
When the A # key is pressed the B key does not sound, the same problem occurs in all octaves.
- When the F key is pressed the E key sounds loudly, I already checked the velocity and I saw that E sounds at 127. The same problem happens in all octaves.
When the B key is pressed the A # key sounds loudly, I already checked the velocity and I saw that A # sounds at 127. The same problem happens in all octaves.
If it were only one octave, I would understand that it was a hardware problem, but it is not so, the problem is exactly the same in the five octaves
I already tried all types of reset, I already did all the updates correctly but the problem is still there.
I would appreciate someone helping me, I have just one year with the keyboard.
You can isolate if its the keyboard keys themselves by playing your Montage with an external keyboard or with your computer. Not playing the physical keys - but having MIDI messages sent to Montage and see if it acts differently while using the same Performances that otherwise behave badly when playing the local keys.
If the problem goes away with an external source for your MIDI notes (external controller or computer) - then there's something wrong with the keyboard hardware or decoder logic. Something that would need some form of service.
If the problem still exists - then I would not necessarily implicate the keyboard yet.
Your baseline testing (when it messes up) should involve playing Montage with zero cables except for a single power cable and only Main L/R cables for your speakers. No MIDI cables or USB cables or foot controllers.
