I have one question about arpeggio

For example- 2 instrument

Lower instrument gives bass - I put arp to yellow - It must hold arp

If I gives acord- arp begin to play - and hold this.

But problem will be , if I play solo - then arp stops playing.

I must all the time hold lower keys

I want so, that I give in lower keys acord- arp will be playing- then I play solo and arp will continue play without touching the keys in lower position.

Somewere in settings problem??

One item to check ...

What is your arpeggio note range? This determines which notes will trigger your arpeggio. Make sure the range matches your lower keyboard range that would not be triggered during your solo playing.

Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R

From the HOME screen:
Touch "Motion Control" > "Arpeggio"
You will see a screen that shows you your 8 PARTs and the assigned Arpeggio Type for each of the 8 Arp Selects.

In the upper right corner, find "RANGE"
If you only want your left hand (lower portion of the keyboard) to control the arp (give instructions to the bass)
Set the Note Range so that the right hand (upper portion) does not interfere.

Find your Bass Arp, set the RANGE so that only the left hand gives instructions.
In the screenshot below, a bass is in Part 1, the Arp is set to ARP HOLD. The ARP NOTE LIMIT is restricted to Notes in the left hand only.

Extra Credit:
This ARP Note Range can be set to a different range from the PART Note Limit Range.

__ The PART Note Limit Range allows the Part to sound across all keys in the range you set - What notes those are will depend on the assigned Arpeggio Phrase;

__ While the ARP Note Limit Range only restricts which keys will send controlling information to your Arpeggiator.

Often a Bass or Guitar Arp Phrase will make use of the Notes above or below the normal range of the intended instrument. These notes can bring in different sound fx or musical articulations... You will want these to sound in response to the Arp Phrase if/when they exist.
The PART Note Limit determines which Notes can generate SOUND.
The ARP Note Limits determine which Notes provide control information to the Arpeggiator.
