Great information!
Now What You do not address(Very well). is the Cell walls Contracting and expanding(Getting damaged) in Temp. extremes.
A normal car sitting in a parking lot at 95 degrees F. for 3 hours. Will be over 200 degrees F inside the car. Worse in a car trunk.
And worse in a Van/Truck.
This is a Real concern for Players on the road. All I can say is
Players. Please When traveling. Always take Note of temperatures. And take precautions against Weather Extremes.
