I have a Montage that I am attempting to connect to Logic through "Connect". I set it up with the interfaces, started a a Logic song and followed the instructions for loading the Montage Connect. When I open the Connect window, it shows the message "Not Ready" and the illustration of the Montage pointing at the computer is greyed out.
What can I do to make it work?
Byron
Thanks BM....
I checked out the link you suggested. I had already followed that tutorial before I submitted this post.
Montage firmware version: 2.50.2 Connect: 1.0.3 Steinburg driver: 1.9.10 Logic: 10.3.2
Any trouble shooting suggestions?

From:
Latest Connect Version is v1.0.5 for mac
Latest Yamaha Steinburg USB driver is v1.10.4 for mac
Older version of Connect supports OS X 10.9 - 10.13
Newer version of Connect supports OS X 10.11 - 10.14
Maybe you're using OS X version previous to 10.11 (Mavericks or Yosemite) and that's why your Connect is a previous version (?).
Your software versions seem "OK" if you have an older OS. If newer, consider upgrading to latest versions. Sometimes reinstalling the same drivers (after removing the old ones) can fix problems.
Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R
I updated the drivers: Connect v1.0.5, Steinburg USB driver v1.10.4
Montage Firmware is 2.50.2 Mac version is 10.13.6
I repeated the procedure in the tutorial BM suggested, but I still can't get it to work! (When I call up the Connect window, the status bar says Offline and remains greyed out)
Any other suggestions?
