The 'arp category search' screen has added an 'attribute' setting that makes it easier to find arpeggios of interest. As far as I can tell neither the original Montage nor the Modx/Modx+ have this.

Page 456/457 of the Operations doc mention it but there is not graphic:

Attribute

Filters by attribute.
By unchecking the Attribute checkbox, you can cancel filtering by attribute.

Settings: Note, Chord, Other, Intro, Main, Fill, Ending, AF, Accent, Random SFX, Mg, number
of measures, time signature, tempo

If you select 'Attribute' you get a set of buttons on the left side of the arp list that are sort of arranged like:

Note  Chord  Other

Intro  Main   Fill   Ending

AF     Accent  Random SFX    Mg

1meas.  2meas.  3meas.  Other

4/4       3/4      6/8          Other

-100   101-150  151-200  201-

--------

1st row - appears to be the type of section the arp was designed for

2nd row - AF lists arps with 'AF1', 'AF2' or 'AF1&2' in their name that use the two assign switches

3rd row - number of measures

4th row - time signature

5th row - tempo - the 1st entry means <100 and the last means 201+ even though it has a '-' sign

You can select multiple attributes and the arp list will filter base on them.

There doesn't appear to be any way to configure ANY of those attributes when creating user arps. But it does make it easier to search for arps of interest among the 10,000+.

Tempo and time signature are available during arp creation.

Listing ranges as -lowest_max and highest_min- is common or has a precedence with existing range notation (from other disciplines).   It'd make more sense to you if there was a different way of representing this (which is fair) but nothing "strange" to me how the ranges are represented.

True - and those filters, and number of measures, will work for user arps as well as preset arps.

But I haven't found any screens that specifically allow the user to denote the other attributes: AF, Accent, Random SFX, Mg, Intro, Main, Fill, Ending, Note, Chord, Other.

I haven't yet tested but possibly the 'Note, Chord, Other' might be implied by the Convert Type?

The other attributes that can be filtered on are likely embedded within the preset arps using tools that aren't available to mere users.

I would also experiment by using the arp name and try adding the _XYZ mnemonics where XYZ is some abbreviation for the arp type.  There are certainly things you can't generate in a user arp because those tools on synth or off (software) haven't been made available to the end user.

Tried all of the combinations of prefix/suffix but none of them affected filtering.
