Just an FYI about a new video Joel released going into more detail about the upcoming OS 3.0 release. Never sure if urls will be deleted so remove the leading hyphens to get a real url for the video.

A couple of things we havent' seen mentioned before:
1. a new 'Kbd Hold Lock' switch on the utility screen. Presumably it prevents the accidental operation of the front panel 'KEYBOARD HOLD' button but he doesn't really mention if that is the case.
2. a new 'Perf Note Shift' parm on the performance common 'Pitch' screen that allow you to modify 'Note Shift' for all parts at the same time rather than part by part.
3. a new 'Perf Inc/Dec' that can be set to either 'Default' or 'Live Set'. The parm controls what the INC and DEC buttons below the rotary dial do. For 'Default' they change from one performance to the next/prior. For 'Live Set' they let you navigate on the Live Set page rather than use the touchscreen.
4. a new 'Animation' switch but he doesn't mention what gets animated
5. a new 'Legacy Mode' On/Off switch. "MIDI 2.0 is disabled in Legacy Mode" is the message you get if you set the switch ON. It isn't clear, and he doesn't discuss, exactly what that actually means. It could mean that controller, and other internal, precisions are the previous 0-127 range or it might be limited to just the External communications get restricted to MIDI 1.0 format.
MIDI 2.0 has CI (Compatibility Inquiry) that allows one instrument to query another instrument to find out what features, if any, the other instrument supports. Perhaps the M model won't perform any CI queries but we don't really know if it is doing it now since we don't have any MIDI 2.0 capable devices connected to out M.
The OS 3.0 is still expected in the next couple of weeks by the end of June so time will tell.
In case it doesn't get altered:

Hi thank you Toby and Jason, seems the forum work in better way, i can come back see and answer, i just go a little bit far away than on the Yamaha Music Production guide from Hape and Blake article and show some "easter eggs" minor change.
Detailled Moessieurs videos will been released after OS 3 official release / TTL episode, first one is on preview only for subscribers on my channel (not for followers).
Kbd Hold Lock' lock the hold button to prevent on stage to activate it by mistake if you do not want to use it, that's my case as example.
Animation like on first montage is a "light red point" you can see when you press your finger on screen, usefull for us when we made videos or TTL to show you where we press, not so usefull when you play on stage as example, so you can unactivate
Hope that's help, stay tune on Yamahasynth.com and Moessieurs
