Was expecting some thread(s) and didn't see any - so here's one ...
Lots of stuff was pre-announced: but there were a few surprises. I missed the tech talk this afternoon ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97J8O51BwsI ) and will have to see it later. But just getting through the intro from Blake - it's great to hear that MIDI 2.0 is work-in-progress with more to come in later firmware versions. The additions that MIDI 2.0 can bring are so potentially versatile that I look forward to those coming updates.
The newly sampled CP80 sounds great.
Sure to have more to say after checking out the tech talk.

There were a few details later in the video I've now watched through that I don't think we're detailed but are fairly small.
The most interesting additional piece is the discussion about when v2.0 will go public. Some of the functionality demonstrated had hiccups attributed to beta versions. I appreciate that we're getting a glimpse with the warts we don't usually see in past releases where info was more guarded. The discussion was that there's no firm date as of now but likely by July 1st.
There was some mention about the efficiency of ESP 2.0 (beta). I'm hoping this translates to "goodness" for a previous user who was struggling with the CPU utilization (really need for buffering) using ESP 1.0. We're sure to get reports from users within the next couple months.

Thanks for posting the link. Blake mentioned early on that functionality has been added to provide access to extended elements in groups of 8. But that was never shown in the video. Hopefully that will include the ability to mute and solo them and more easily copy and exchange them.
Blake mentioned at the start of the video that the new functionality will include the ability to more easy access extended elements in groups of 8, perhaps similar to that provided on the control assign page.
Hopefully that will include the ability to mute and solo them.
