Please wake up and hire and/or sponsor Kier Darby to make Montage M tutorials. Existing tutorials for the Montage M suck. Language barriers, subtitles and closed captioning not-withstanding, no-one is doing a better job to outline, explain and give examples with concise videos than Kier.

As the Yamaha owner since the 1980’s - current Montage M8x and previous owner of the KX88, TX7, Motif8, Motif ES8 and Motif XS8, I left Yamaha for several years as the U/I was crap. I came back to the Montage M8x for the updated U/I, sub-display, poly aftertouch and incredible sounds. While it is SO much better, it still has a learning curve. Your best resource is Kier (most recent YouTube tutorial linked below).

If you want a real home run bring back Bert and add Kier!
