Today I load and unload american grand and bosendorfer library that are big library and I've had a lot of issue with memory managment.
Montage tell frequently me that there is sample space available also if I delate all data library. For example can't have american grand loaded on user bank (and cutted from library bank) and at the same time bosendorfer library on montage because it tell me that there isn't enought space (that's not true).
In the end I've initialized all datas from setting menu and in this way I can load (only in library form) bosendorfer and american grand toghether (but I can't have one of it in user bank because problem of sample space).
So everytime I load library and then I pass it in user bank the montage memory remain in part used by I don't know what and this put montage in impossible to use the few memoy available in a total way it should.
I repeat the problem appear in this way:ù
0) montage memory empty
1) mount american grand library on montage
2) import american grand in user bank
3) delete american grand from library
4) load bosendorfer library --> impossible because sample memory is full (not in line with data used)
I think that ...
If you've deleted your libraries and are out of space most likely your user area holds waveforms. Another user has mentioned waveform management as not optimized in the user area.
After doing an X7U and/or X7A backup (for safety purposes), I'd initialize Montage to clear out the user bank clutter.
