Hi, is there a quick way to undo a last sequence on Montage (not just a note or two but all the notes of the last sequence)?
The only option I know is that discussd on page 18 of the Supplementary doc

Undo
Cancels the most recently made change and restores the state prior to the most recent change. This is available only when a sequence already exists and you have performed some operation

[/quotePost]The most recent recording (be it a single Track or multiple Track session) can be undone. When working with the “Play/Rec” > MIDI Song or Pattern Sequencer a box will appear upon you hitting STOP to end the Record session; it will be labeled “Undo Media Record” this will undo only the most recently added data.
The box will immediately transition to “Redo Media Record” allowing you to change your mind and restore that data. This works by placing the most recent record operation in an EDIT Buffer… it holds just the most recent recorded data. The buffer is purged when you start a new recording.
This is great for recording/re-recording Note data to the MIDI Song and Pattern Sequencer.
If you recorded Controller movement that you wish to “undo” (in other words, the Note data is correct and to be kept, but you wish to undo just your Controller movements MW, SuperKnob, AssignKnobs, Sliders, etc., etc), you can keep the NOTE data and redo just your Controller data on an individual Controller basis.
By placing the Performance Recorder in “Overdub” Record, activating any Controller will immediately start to rewrite that Controller’s data. If you do not touch a Controller it will remain as originally recorded. It works like Read/Write Automation found in DAWs.
Extra Credit:
You can use the “Edit/Job” functions found in Pattern to remove any recorded data (including Sysex, specific Knob movements, entire Tracks, entire Scenes, etc., etc.)
If you recorded to the MIDI Song (linear) and wish to access the Pattern “Edit/Job” functions, you can move your entire Song (or any specific region) to a Pattern Scene (use the Pattern “Edit/Job” - “Song/Event” > “Get Phrase”)

Thanks so much for a detailed response! Best Regards, Danijel
Hi Andrew, thanks so much for the info!
Just a suggestion if I may.
Whenever you learn something new you should take the opportunity to TEST it and try things to help drill in just how it works.
Don't do that testing on your real recording. Create a new, simple one, and then try the UNDO and REDO so you get a feel for how it works and what the screens look like.
