Hello, I got today an used Yamaha Montage 8, and I observed it has the version 1.51 on it installed, and I wanted to upgrade it.
USB update didn't worked so I checked with the PC Montage Connect tool.
And at the SETUP is an error message: Firware version error.
Could somebody provide me assistance to solve the issue.

Did you download the new OS version ( https://usa.yamaha.com/support/updates/montage_os_updater.html) and follow the instructions in the Readme file included in the zip?

Hello,
yes, I did, and I followed the exact steps, formated the USB in the Yamaha, the only file on the USB was the OS.
I tried every step that I found on this forum, but the issue still persist.

I checked my device, and the Cursor keys are not working,
Is there a way how it can be activated or deactivate ?

If your buttons are broken then that needs to get fixed.

Have you tried a factory reset first? Then try to install newest firmware. make sure there is nothing else on the usb drive except the update file.
