Hello all
I just wanted to know if there are any way to use a Yamaha Mfc10 Multipedal With a Montage
or something similar
Thank You in Advance
😮 😮 😮
The MFC10 (MIDI Foot Controller) can be used with most any MIDI keyboard, the Montage no exception. The question for you is what do you want to do?
That's the big question alright. I've had an MFC10 midi Foot Controller through ownership of three Tyros keyboards, but never actually used it. It seemed a good idea at the time!
But I would have thought that it should/could trigger something creatively useful midi wise, and what about additional functionality with the pedal on it?
Hi
I use Moxf8, Montage 6 and MFC10.
I use the buttons of MFC10 to change scenes, arpeggios or Motion sequences, sending temporary Assign 1 and Assign 2 and with the connected pedals I send modulation and aftertouch (when I play from Moxf8).
You have 'banks' on MFC10 you can switch in realtime, I use it to switch from 'scenes changes', 'arpeggios changes', 'motion sequences changes'.
Some functions as arpeggios change can't be program on MFC10 (sending sysex) so I use Bome software to intercept a dedicated CC from MFC10 and convert it in the good sysex.
All that is for keeping hands for playing keyboard, same idea as use FC7 for SuperKnob.
Also changing arps or MS via MFC10 allows to record these events on a DAW ( the buttons on Montage for changing arps or MS send nothing) otherwise you have to use scenes.
Wow! You've certainly answered the question.
I found the MFC10 to be non-trivial to program so I'm really impressed by your implementations. let alone the ideas.Great stuff.
Now, how about a YouTube demo ........... 🙂
