Pressing both the buttons [1] and [2] under "KNOB
POSITION", which is referred to as "MOTION SEQ /
MANUAL", is not directly related to this.
For the sake of completeness, however, here's a brief
explanation. The Super Knob can be automated with a
Motion Sequence. Various Preset Performances make use
of that. An example is "FM Landscapes". When you press
the buttons [1] and [2] together, the Motion Sequence is
disabled. Pressing them both again switches it back on.
Thus, for such Performances, this is a fast possibility of
manually controlling the Super Knob. This status can also
be saved with the Performance.
