Does anyone know if there there any plans to add velocity and quantized pitch to the Motion Sequencer modulation destinations in a future OS update? For as deep as this machine is, is seems odd that two of the most basic functions of a step sequencer have been left out.

Perhaps the idea was that arpeggios would fill that gap?

I've asked for velocity in the past - since it can help trigger different velocity-sensitive elements if the keyboard is at a fixed velocity (piano keys) and an offset is used to change the velocity vs. a more difficult to control actual note-on velocity. And coupled with motion sequence can setup interesting capabilities.

I've also wished we can get quantized pitch as dealing with the current system - when trying to target note value offsets - is difficult and also inaccurate due to lack of ability for temperament. Using MS as a step sequencer is one use for this - but also being able to do interesting on-demand note offsets is another.

So I second the request on both fronts.

I third that. I think they should start focusing on expanding all the modulation capabilities of this thing

one thing that i am doing is assigning part volumes to motion sequencing to create a rudimentary sequence (those parts are playing arps). If you set the sequence to long unit multiplies synced to tempo then you can create psuedo songs. I still would like to see more destinations and sources. I always thought that having the motion sequence control scenes would be cool as well - this way different portions of varying arpeggios could be controlled by a sequence (more randomization).
