Hi,
Maybe a stupid question, but how do I import a sample to my user memory from a library which isn't used in a performance of that library? Can't seem to find it anywhere.
Thanks!

One way is you can backup user memory, clear user memory, then load the library directly into user memory. Assuming you have the X7L (library) file you used to load in first place. Copy the X7L to an X7U then load the X7U into user memory. Now your orphan sample is in user memory. Create a performance which uses this orphan sample (or all orphan samples). Now you can promote user to a library slot. Again clear user memory. Load your backed up user memory. Now use the import (from Library) feature to pull in the new performance(s) you created which use the previously orphaned waveforms. Now your old user memory + new orphan waveforms are together in the same memory space (user).
There's maybe a different way - but I don't have the keyboard in front of me to run through it. The above works. Someone else may provide a different method.

That is a lot of work for something simple 😀 I'll try that.
